• Have had a stroke
• Have low blood pressure or high blood pressure that is not controlled
• Have a deformed penis shape
• Have had an erection that lasted for more than 4 hours
• Have problems with your blood cells such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia
• Have retinitis pigmentosa, a rare genetic (runs in families) eye disease
• Have ever had severe vision loss, including an eye problem called NAION
• Have bleeding problems
• Have or have had stomach ulcers
• Have liver problems
• Have kidney problems or currently undergoing dialysis treatment
• Have any other medical conditions

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

Some side effects include:

Sildenafil, Tadalafil, and Vardenafil may affect how other medicines work, and other medicines may affect how these medications work, causing side effects. Please inform your healthcare provider if you take any of the following:

• Nitrates- Guanylate cyclase stimulators such as Adempas (riociguat)
• Alpha-blockers such as Hytrin (terazosin HCl), Flomax (tamsulosin HCl), Cardura (doxazosin mesylate), Minipress (prazosin HCl), Uroxatral (alfuzosin HCl), Jalyn (dutasteride and tamsulosin HCl), or Rapaflo (silodosin).
• HIV protease inhibitors, such as ritonavir (Norvir), indinavir sulfate (Crixivan), saquinavir (Fortovase or Invirase), or atazanavir sulfate (Reyataz)
• Some types of oral antifungal medicines, such as ketoconazole (Nizoral) and itraconazole (Sporanox)
• Some types of antibiotics, such as clarithromycin (Biaxin), telithromycin (Ketek), or erythromycin
• Other medicines that treat high blood pressure
• Other medicines or treatments for ED
• Sildenafil, Tadalafil, and Vardenafil should not be used with REVATIO or with other PAH treatments containing sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil, or any other PDE5 inhibitors (such as Adcirca tadalafil)
• Sildenafil, Tadalafil, and Vardenafil do not protect against sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.

The most common side effects of Sildenafil, Tadalafil, and Vardenafil include headache, flushing, runny nose, congestion, throat or nose irritation, back pain, muscle pain, upset stomach, and heartburn.

INDICATION

Sildenafil, Tadalafil, and Vardenafil are FDA-approved prescription medications for erectile dysfunction (ED) and are also prescribed off-label for other conditions.

Do not take apomorphine if you have an allergy/hypersensitivity to apomorphine or sulfite preservatives, have a history of syncope (fainting) or severe low blood pressure, are using nitrate medications or potent antihypertensives (risk of unsafe blood pressure drops), are taking serotonin receptor antagonists (like ondansetron/Zofran) – this combination can cause sudden severe low blood pressure and fainting, or have severe cardiovascular disease (uncontrolled angina, arrhythmias, recent stroke or heart attack).

Common side effects of apomorphine include:

• Nausea or vomiting (most common, especially without an anti-nausea agent)
• Dizziness or lightheadedness (due to blood pressure changes)
• Yawning or drowsiness
• Sweating or flushing
• Headache

Rare but possible side effects of apomorphine include: fainting, hallucinations, or sudden low blood pressure.

Do not take oxytocin if you have a known allergy to oxytocin, have significant cardiovascular disease or uncontrolled high/low blood pressure, are at risk for fluid overload or hyponatremia (since oxytocin can promote water retention at higher doses), caution is also advised in men with a history of arrhythmias, or those on other medications that strongly affect blood pressure.
